I am still hanging in there. I am still maintainign between 121 and 122,
which is fine, i guess. Chris has made a few comments about me going to the
gym, which i know he doesn't mean in a bad way, but for someone with an
eating disorder it makes it very tempting to see just how small we can make
that number on the scale go! He doesn't understand that my distorted body
image and never being happy with my body no matter how little i weigh is an
eating disorder. You don't have to be anorexic or bulimic to have an eating
disorder, and i think he doesn't unerstand that. I've asked him twice not
to make any comments about me needing to go back to the gym (i keep saying i
need to start going again, and he's saying it in reference to that and the
comment i made about my wanting my stomach to be flat). I know he means
well, but it's hard any way.
There isnt' really a cheating thing for me anymore. Sometimes i allow
myself something that isn't LC (last week it was an Olive garden breadstick
with my huge salad i had for lunch). While i know that it isn't LC at all,
it hasn't caused me any cravings or weight gain, it's just allowed me to
maintain. I count the carbs in it into my daily allowance as i do
everythign else i eat.
For next week, i'd like to try to make it to the gym at least once. Or at
least do something at home exercise-oriented.
