I agree. I keep all of my flax seeds/meal and nuts and nut meal all in the
freezer. Since I've been doing that, I've never had any go bad on me. Same with
low carb bread, as a loaf lasts a long time for me.
I learned this about 25 years ago when some friends brought me a canister of
ground macadamia nuts back from a trip to Hawaii. I decided to save them for a
special occasion, and put them in the cupboard. Mistake. One day I decided to
use them for a topping on something, and they had gone bad. I was so sad.
