Re: Recipe Exchange - Low-Carb.com healthy LC birth

Congratulations, Amy, on delivering a healthy baby and staying healthy
during the pregnancy. I also did a low carb pregnancy and delivered a
very healthy baby and gained only a little weight with the baby (I was
already overweight). Since I had gestational diabetes, I was monitored
the entire time with stress testing and by a perinatologist. This baby
was, in fact, my heaviest, longest baby but he was not padded with fat.
I am sure you know what I am talking about. His brothers would always
say, "Whew! That is one strong baby!"

I also did low carb breastfeeding with no problems. I wish I would have
known about low carbing with my other pregnancies!
