Dear Friends,

Having studied and experimented with various spiritual, healing and inner growth methodologies over the years I've become aware of the astonishing role our
preconscious or subconscious mind plays in our decision making.

For instance, studies in UCLA have shown that effectiveness of  communication is determined 93% by non-verbal cues and only 7% by what is actually said. Its an idea most of us will find difficult to believe. Even if we do believe it, we may find it difficult to appreciate to what extent we are influenced by non-verbal cues.

I came across some educational and entertaining (edu-taining) presentations by "Derren Brown" on youtube.com which demonstrate to what extent each of us is susceptable. He masterfully combines diverse techniques like body language, subliminal messages, photo-reading, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), energy meridians, mild hypnosis etc. to achieve what can only be described as "amazing".

Now Mr. Brown is quite a showman...but what he is doing is not miraculous. These talents are latent in us all and each one of us can develop these abilities for our benefit if we want to. The purpose of this post is to awaken you to the enormous power of  your mind, of which most of us are using only a tiny percentage.
