It revealed that proper nutrition can have a dramatic effect on reducing and reversing these ailments as well as curbing obesity. This study called into question the practices of many of the current dietary programs, such as the Atkins diet, that are widely popular in the West. This study presented solid and convincing evidence that the best possible diet for overall health, energy, weight control, and disease prevention is a
whole foods plant-based diet. Even reducing the percentage of animal foods in one¢s diet from 10% to 0% was found to be significantly beneficial.
