This group was formed in October of 2004 to provide support to women who suffer from love-shyness as described by Brian G. Gilmartin, Ph.D. This is a place where I hope women can be the majority, unlike the original love-shyness Yahoo groups, which were male-centric. If you are a straight or bisexual man whose reason for signing up is to “pick-up-chicks”, please go elsewhere. For now, I am only going to allow females to join, but I may change the rules in the future to allow men to join. This is to insure a female-focus. I will allow men to join as long as they don’t shift the focus from female love-shyness. I don’t want this forum to degrade into a “how can I attract hot women” forum. Discussions on “how to attract hot guys” are OK though!
