This support group is for people who are suffering from long QT or know of someone who is. Topics include, but are not limited to, genetic testing, testing for long QT, symptoms, treatment, or other long QT interests.

This is a reminder to all group members - always use caution when reading posts and never follow the advice of anyone in this group whether it is through the posts on the message board or individual advice off list, regardless of how reliable he/she may sound, without contacting your doctor first to make sure that the suggestion is appropriate for your situation. Remember, all suggestions from members in this group are "this is what works for me" and NOT "this is what is wrong, and this is what you should do about it". We cannot possibly attempt to diagnose anyone through the internet or without a medical license, so please use caution and discuss all suggestions with your physician.

In addition, please remember that the severity of this disease is different for each member. We encourage group members to be open about their health issues and realize that some are much sicker than others. As always with a group such as this, those who are the most ill tend to post more often. That does not mean that every Long QT patient will have the same issues.
