Hi, Sherry,
My husband, Mike, was on Peg in 2002 and made it through 43 weeks. The
drs. pulled him off because of low rbc and also because he had protein in his
urine. Since then we have switched doctors and he is now going to the Liver
Institute in Dallas and has a very good Hepatologist helping him. He also has a
kidney specialist. It was discovered two weeks ago that he has Cryoglobulinemia
as well as Hep C. He has to go back on treatments in March only this time it is
a daily injection along with the rib for 48 weeks. We are not looking forward
to it, but he has no choice. Hope everything goes well with you.
God Bless,
Betty Pellman
