Re: Update on what to look for in a doct

Hello, I was just going to let you know that Mark
had his last chemo treatment today. His doctors have
decided that he will not have any radiation, which was a
definite blessing for us.
About the 4th month of the
ABVD therapy, he started having trouble with being
winded. Mark didn't even notice it, but I noticed he was
panting walking from our living room to the bedroom. We
talked to the doctor, they sent him to the pulmonary
clinic immediately and ascertained that he had some mild
lung damage. They discontinued the bleomyacin (please
forgive my spelling) as they said that was the drug that
was attacking his lung. THey felt that the regimen
could stay at AVD without an additional drug to replace
the bleomyacin. I was anxious about it, but only time
will tell.
We were joyful on the way home tonight,
but we know that he still has a couple of weeks of
feeling ill, at least we are seeing that light at the end
of the tunnel.
If you have any questions, feel
free to contact us.
God Bless
