What to look for.. doctor/Clincal Trials

How is the program at Stanford, would you
recommend this over any other Cancer Center in the Greater
SD and LA areas? In the US? Was this a clinical
trial?

Any other recommend clinical trials or treatment
therapy in the US or Canada that anyone can
recommend?

I have been diagnosed with HD and currently in the
process of being staged. I should now this COB on
Thursday by a local Oncologist in SD (which has is
exceptional so far). Current testing includes:
- CAT (came
back Normal)
- Blood (check for HIV - all results
negative)
- Bone Marrow
- Bronchopsy (lung biopsy - I was
coughing blood)
- PET Scan (tomorrow - Posontronic
Emission Tectrophy SP)

I will be getting a second
opinion from a Oncologist who specialized in Hogdkin's at
Cedars-Siani in LA for other Clinical Trials or
treatments.

If I am stage 1 it looks like radiation therapy
only, stage 2 and above will be a combination of Chemo
and Radiation?

Any suggestions from other HD
cancer patients under therapy would be great. My main
concern is this is a pretty curable disease but the
treatments to cure HD cause other adverse effects, harm or
other unknowns? Is anyone else concerned about their
current therapy?

All comments welcome... Thanks
and GOD Bless.

p.s. Any recommended diets
during the treatments or for the rest of your LIFE!!!
