well ill tell you it was all hell on me i had the jpouch done about 2
years ago like i said it was hell the first part when they take your
colon and give you a bag well if that wasnt bad enough i had infection
after infection in and out of the hospital for about 4 monyhs stright
mostly in if it didnt mean i wasnt giong to die without the surgury i
would have thought it was the biggest mistake of my life and yes i had
the problem with not getting a good seal it was hell i had to change
the dressing everyday because it would burn like i cant tell you how
bad i had the bag on for 11 months i thought if i didnt stop getting
these infections in the pouch they made i would have this bag forever
and that would have to be good enough because i have 5 kids and it
would mean they still had a mom that was alive misrable but alive i am
only 38 years old sex well that seemed to be over but i have a very
good boyfriend that made me relize that he loved me not what i looked
like and made me feel comfrontbel durning sex then i got strong enough
and the infection stayed away longenough to do the 2nd part the take
down and ill tell you iv never been better and so happy i did it
because im alive it is a very rough thing to go through but i know its
easy for me to say now and i know you get very discouraged but hang in
there it will all be over one day and youll be happy and life will go
back to the way it was just be postive that it will try not to be
depressed it takes longer to get better if you are depressed get your
endorfins going and it will help you get better because the happy you
are the faster you will get better i hope everything gose ok for you
and when its all over you will be glad you did it
