Hello, I am new to your group and I wanted to introduce myself. I have a 10
year old daughter who was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. So, far we are
not having any luck controlling it. Her condition has actually worsened
considerably since we started taking her to the gastrointestinal doctor back
in August 2002.

Before I sent everyone an extremely long letter with her history and our
experiences, I wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone is interested in
reading the info and giving me their input, etc. I'm wondering if what we are
going through is normal, or if we should get a second opinion. I am not
familiar with this disease. I have joined about 6 UC groups in yahoo, so you
may see this posting again somewhere (I apologize in advance). I'm not sure
how active these groups are, and I wanted to start getting information right
away. If you would like me to send our story, let me know.
