The only experiece I've had under local anesthetic was having my
wisdom teeth taken out and believe it or not it wasn't all that bad.
The process took about an hour and a half and I was high on laughing
gas so I didn't care what was going on at all.

My one suggestion is to bring some music; a radio or anything. This
really helps take your mind off of things and makes the time pass by
quicker.
