Dear Jaki,<br>I am 13 years old now, have have
myself had the Bone Graft Operation Performed on me.
Fortunately, I am quite relaxed about going into hospital, so
I wasn't worried about the proceedings. The itinary
of the operation was thoroughly explained to myself
and my parents, and were both very happy.<br>I was
told before hand that I wouldn't be able to walk for a
few days after the operation, but, because I didn't
want to use the bed pan, I was happily walking to the
toilet within 17 hours of the operation!!!<br>After the
op, the Thursday evening, I threw up blood, but only
because the stomach pump fell out during the
operation.<br>I was discharged from hospital on the Friday
afternoon, and was even well enough to spend a couple of
hours in school!!<br>Please, do not hesitate to e-mail
