Glad the surgery went OK. I can relate to the bit where you wrote about when
the people took the packing out of your nose. It stung me, and the blood had
dried so it got harder to pull out. You know when you pull a nose hair and
tears come automatically? That happened to me, and the nurses thought I was
crying! They were like "Aaw, it's OK Emma! Does it hurt?" and I was like "Yes!!
But
I'm not crying!" and they gave me sympathetic looks like "Yes, dear. You're
being brave!" soooooo patronising!!!
