A Case of Canine Lymphoma Helped By LDN   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #91 of 430 |
Hi Everyone,

I recently received the following message from a person who praises LDN for
helping to defeat a case of lymphoma in his pet dog.

Hello,

Quick summary - Our four year old Doberman, Lizzie, was diagnosed with stage
five Lymphoma on 10/01/07. Started her on Cs_Rb/K (Cesium+Rubidium and
Potassum) protocol.

10/09 Start Chemo ~ 24 wk protocol.

02/12/08 No sign of Lymphoma. Stop Cs etc., but continuing to end with Chemo.

03/25 Final Chemo. Declared in remission.

03/30 Large lump under jaw. Called vet/oncologist. He's sure it isn't the
lymphoma but wants to see her. Put her on antibiotic for two weeks just in case.

04/22 Biopsy results - Lymphoma. Not going to put her through chemo again
Started Cs, etc.

05/10 Found out about and started LDN - dosing was weight proportional to 150#
human (2.5mg).

06/12 Found that dosage for dogs should be 1-1.5mg/10# body weight so more than
doubled LDN dosage to 6.0mg. We were measuring the tumor/lump externally but
getting fair measurements for LxDxH.

08/09 Stop Cs, etc. final. Continuing LDN . Lump/tumor is 5.6 cubic inches

10/02 To Vet. All that remains of lump that was a max. of 18.8 cubic inches is
what he feels is just scar tissue. All he sees is healthy dog with one slightly
swollen lymph node. (Might be from the Lyme disease she is about to get). He has
never seen this recovery/cure/remission with that Lymphoma. "She beat
the odds". I had told him about the LDN and he did do some searching. "Keep her
on the LDN."

She was supposed to be dead by now and what you see is a healthy dog - well, she
is still getting rid of Lyme disease effects but
looks good, acts good. Happy kid.
I'm a believer.

Ben Davidson

Hi Patricia, I believe the dosage is much too high. See this site for information about computing dosage based on weight--Clark's rule--for animals and humans:...
