Hi Joe,
Welcome to the group!
Ask your friend to visit this site about the side effects of LDN:

Where there is liver impairment, as in your friend's case, the side effects tend
to be worse, since it is the liver that is responsble for metabolizing
medications.
Hope that helps!

Subject: [ldnforcancer] Symptoms get worse on LDN at first?
I recently fixed all my symptoms from Progressive Relapsing MS after
using LDN for @ 3 months.
A close friend of mine is phase 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has
metastasized to his liver.
I gave him a two week supply of my LDN while he was waiting for his
own prescription. He claimed that it made his symptoms worse and that
when he stopped taking it he felt better.
I know that LDN sometimes exacerbates MS symptoms at first. Does the
same sometimes happen with cancer? What should I tell him to do?
Thanks for any help...
Joe
