"Jan,
Thanks for the very encouraging report.
With the prostate cancer with mets patient, did he
also use alpha lipoic acid IV or pills?
I though LDN can be tapered off when one got healed, i
see in your report that it has to be takenf or life.
Thanks.
Melly"

Dear Melly,
Dr. Berkson uses I.V. alpha lipoic acid while he is initially treating his
cancer patients. Following that, he has his patients take ALA capsules
thereafter for maintenance. Regarding the LDN, it is also taken for the
duration, which is really no problem at all. It is cheap; the side effects are
minimal (if any) and is safe at such a minuscule dosage.
My husband takes compounded LDN, clothed in a beautiful bright red capsule. I
make my own LDN. We happily remind each other to take our "big red" each night,
as we never want to forget. My husband, who has chronic lymphocytic leukemia,
did not have the opportunity to go to Dr. Berkson, but he does take ALA by mouth
twice a day. And why not?
Warm wishes and good health!
Jan
