Hi Everyone,

Here is an interesting article about foods that appear to have potential in
fighting cancer:

Subject: [ldnforcancer] LDN And Canine Cancer

Hi Everyone,

The message below was recently posted at

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lowdosenaltrexone

It refers to the successful use of LDN in treating a case of malignant
melanoma in a dog. I thought it might interest some of you animal
lovers.

"Just poppin' in to tell you about my mom's Scotty. She was diagnosed
with malignant melanoma about 6 months ago and had to have a toe or
leg amputated. Mom just opted for the toe and took the wait `n see
approach regarding the leg or any further procedures. She did not
want to put the dog through that or spend enormous amounts of money
when the results would ultimately be the same.

"I suggested LDN, and it took some prodding, but she finally started
her on it. She has been on it about a month. Well, my mom called
yesterday to say thank you, she has a new dog. She was certain that
her time was coming to an end, but over the last few weeks she has
been her old lively self, dragging out toys and wanting to play. It's
certainly not a cure, but is making the dog more comfortable and my
mom happy. That's certainly no small thing. Thanks for those of you
who guided me on thisyou know who you are.

"I know most of us here are more interested in the human results, but
us dog lovers consider our dogs a part of the family, and so if anyone
has a sick pooch, I thought you would like to hear this story.
Hopefully, you never need this information, but if you ever do, it's
nice to have."
