The Athletic Trainer is an allied health care professional, specializing in the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. In this state, Athletic Trainers must be certified by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Our membership meets biannually, with various committees meeting throughout the year in an effort to improve the services available to anyone who leads an active lifestyle.
