My surgery was 2 years ago and they didn't do the barium swallow, nor did they tell me to put an ice pack on the port site.  The business about walking lots and rolling your arms in big circles from the shoulders was still on the "to do" list to dispel gas and anesthesia.

Well, my surgery went so smoothly and quickly that after I was "good and awake", I put my clothes on and went home.  I got to the surgery center at 6:30 am...

When you wake up and are able to stand and walk, you should get up and get moving, walking slowly.  It will help with the pain and help you get to feeling...

I can't believe everyone forgot and I think that I am probably the oldest banded person here.  Once you are awake enough they will walk you to an xray machine...

Sandy,   I remember drinking something chalky and it was in Nov. 2005.  I think we all get very nervous especially since a person doesn't know how they react...

No, it's regular tylenol, it's just in liquid form. You'll find it with all the other pain relievers. The nightime is a golden liquid and the normal is red....
