Hey! Melissa...Thanks for posting and glad to hear you are doing so well. Your weight loss in that length of time is phenomenal! It sounds like you are on a great track to your goal weight. I need to loose 35 more pounds and I hope to do that by the end of the year. I needed to lose almost 100 pounds and decided from the get go that however fast or slowly it came off was how it was going to be! The older I've gotten, the more patient I've become.
I hope you're bound for a vacation spot that's cooler than it is here! Maybe Alaska?
For those of you that like cauliflower or broccoli try coating it with just enough grape seed oil or EVOO to cover, throw in salt, pepper, garlic salt and red chili flakes to taste and roast on a sheet pan @ 350 until it's as tender as you like. Really tasty!
I, too, hope everyone is doing well and would love to hear from one and all.
Hi Everyone:Just wanted to give everyone a quick update. I have now lost 42 lbs since my surgery May 7th. (only 58 to go before I hit my goal weight :) ) I am getting ready to do my second fill as soon as I get back from vacation. The feeling of gagging has gone away and I have finally learned how to eat slow and take little bites. I am still having some problems getting all my protein in, but I just keep trying everyday. I hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the last of the summer. Take care.Melissa
