Hey Gary,
I'd think your doc would recommend heavy PT. For about two months
post op I was doing PT on my own and just getting a little guidance
from a therapist. My recovery was moving slow.
Due to insurance reasons I had to see another physical therapist. I
told her I wanted to run and play sports just like I used to and they
decided I needed to be on some kind of boot camp program. I tell you
when I come out of there my leg is tight and I'm sweating. My
surgical leg is much more toned and defined compared to my 'good'
leg. I've been going there for about a month now and I feel pretty
good. Almost normal. (Not quite.)
Maybe what you need is just some heavy duty PT.

couldn't walk without the tendon put back together and anchored to
the patella. I have done almost all of the rehab work myself, but
there is still a lot of scar tissue on top of the knee. I guess I'll
have to go and talk to the doctor and get his thoughts on what's on
whats going on. Thank's again and keep the knees safe.
