I have recently had an acl surgery about 2 months ago. i tore my acl
cause i was in a bmx competition and i was on the last jump and when i
went up i did something wrong and i woke up in the hospital. i was
rushed to the hospital by ambulance. the doctors did an mri of my knee
and thats when they saw that i had a torn acl. i had surgery that
night. everything went well.i spent 2 days in post-op recovery. i now
have a cast on my leg from about the middle of my thigh all the way
(down) and including my foot.i've had the cast on for 8 weeks. and i
dont get my cast off for another 2-3 weeks. after i get my cast off i
start physical therapy(and that lasts for about 6-8 weeks) and once
that is over i have to wear a medical boot for a while.
