RSD after surgery   Message List

Back in December I had a simple scope done to remove palaika and some
torn cartiledge from my left knee. I was on a 6 week plan. I am still
not working as a result of RSD. Reflex sympathetic nerve disorder,
pain, patella pressure, blood pressure problems, body temperature not
consistent, and limited mobility due to the brain telling muscles to
work and they ignore it. No prognosis either. All I can do is take
anti-depressant, a non narcotic pain medicine, and PT 5 days a week
(also to trick the body to get back to a routine). I know that this is
a reaction to the trauma the surgery caused, but how long will it last?
I only have a mild case, I would hate to see ANYONE with a worse case!
