I went through the same thing about a year ago.
However, I didn't get a graft from a donor. The
surgeon took my AT band and made that my new ACL. I
really haven't had any problems, but I haven't really
played basketball / football w/o my brace. My physical
therapist told me it would be fine, but mentally I'm
not quite there yet. Oh, I also have this "clicking"
thing when I extend my leg. Doc said it was nothing
and I could go back into surgery if i wanted to get
rid of the clicking...i opted out.
