It was the same for me. They did not REALLLY know what was going on
till they operated on my knee. then he found the tear and fixed it.
all my MRI showed was the swelling and what looked like a
dislocation/sublxation. Xrays were useless. (for my case atleast) but
i know how it feels. I just hope and pray this is the last i hear
from it. im 26 and have already had my knee worked on ... Surgery is
not a pleasent experiance in my opinion... Well... The waking up part
isnt... it hurt so bad... I remember comming too in pain, all they
did was shoot me up with 3 different painkillers to get it under
control and sent me home. But, im glad atleast they medicated me
really well before sending me home. The next day i just took
ibuprohen and lortab for three days and didnt need the lortab after
day three. how is your knee doing structurally?
Have they mentioned doing a possible knee replacement? My boss had
one 3 years ago and said it has made a night and day different in his
quality of life.

anyway they did the arthoscopie surgery and i had 2 very large tears
and severe arthritise so until they go in i really don't know if they
can tell how bad it is.. i have now had a second surgery for more
tearing so it seems even if they do it , it can happen again and it
only took about a yr for me to need the surgery again..
