Tonia,
I would have loved to have one of those coolers.
Okay, I just got back from my Surgeon apt. and got to the bottom of
the clicking I'm having. My PT thought it may be the meniscus, but
the Doc says that it is just the scare tissue breaking loose and that
it will go away in time. I freaked her out when she asked me if I had
hurt it recently and I said "no," then told her, "oh! I slipped on
ice in the parking lot yesterday." She said, "well! you just said you
never hurt it" and I told her it only hurt for a minute. I was very
lucky to have my brace on in trhe morning. Ice was in the parking
llot at the shopping mall and it was covered in just enough snow that
I didn't see ice. Hurt like hell for a few minutes. She had her
intern check my knee, but after telling her that she threw me back
onto the table to check everthing herself. As I said I was lucky and
everything is good.
The Doc cleared me back to do "some" work. Welding is definately not
an option. She showed me with expression that it was a good idea not
to go back to what I was doing when I said I'm attending school in
the fall. I asked if it would be alright to get back into some
security work. She said you bet, but I do have to wear the knee brace.
So I'm off to find a security position in the casino for evenings and
going to school in the days.
...Corey
