As with you, I have a numbness to the side of my knee.
I was tols that feeling would return in full within a
1 -1 1/2 years. It is just due to the incision which
cuts acroos the nerves.
For gaining the bend back I use the stairs and it
works great. I was, a week ago, a bit behind in my
flexability due to having hip problems from walking
with a limp because of 20 degree blocks in my brase,
but I began using the stairs to stretch and my bend
has improved within a few days. I stand at the bottom
and place my bad knee up 3 steps and lean into it
while keeping my back straight and upright. It works
great.
Good luck, Mystic Traveler
