I am about to start my third week of physical therapy, after having
surgery on my right knee. Apparently, I am not progressing as quickly
as my doctor had hoped I was, and my pt told me that I really need to
get my leg bending, otherwise, they might have to resort to
more 'drastic' methods. It sounded kind of scary when she told
me...what could they possibly be?
I would like to work really hard at my sessions, but the thing is,
it's just excruciating for me. It really is. Maybe I'm just a wuss,
but they're thinking something might not be going right for me. I
don't know. All I know is that I have been taking darvocet and 800 mg
of ibuprofen for pain, but it does nothing for me. I'm allergic to
codeine, so I can't take vicodin - what is comparable to that that
could possibly alleviate my pain?
Thank you in advance. :)

Christine
