A small easily accesible back pack or cross body pack-my hardest thing was carrying stuff around the house when I was home alone(ds was in school and dh had to work). A large water bottle that can remain filled and not have to fill up as often-I recommend the Nalgene type because they have the lid attached that can act as loop when closed and I could carry that to and from my chair in the living room. And I wish I had known you could purchase them when I had surgery...the soft, reuseable ice packs(I got one for dh at Kmart), that way it can be wrapped around the knee after PT-ice was my best friend and that ice pack would have been AWESOME.

I was hoping members of this group could help me with care package
ideas for a client going in to have ACL surgery.
My initial thoughts were a comfy pillow that could allow her to site
up while laying on the couch or bed and a reach extender -- has prongs
of some sort at the end of an extended pole to grab items further
away. (Reduces the need to bend down or get up to grab the remote.)
I also thought some Mad Libs might be fun -- remember those?
Any other thoughts out there? I would like to cap spending around
$100.
