once you have had an injury anywhere it will never never be back to normal. as for themenical haveing part of it rmoved is what they did to me i had 2 large tears and i had surgery sept 13th 02 and it hurts once in swhile and the other times it hurts alot and i work in a warehouse unloading simi trucks i drive a fork lift and get off and on it for 10 hrs a day and i also so alot of walking because not everthing is on a pallet so i have to load it .. i am a 57 yr old women .and i have been doing this for 22 yrs at a target warehouse.. i am now off work sence jan 11 05 and they have just got the results back from the mri and i need surgery again to the meniscil they already took half of it and the tears cause me to have severe arthritice and of course the insurance is going to try and say that the arthritise is not work related but that ois totally bull it is from the injury and now they say i will needa knee trnsplant alot sooner then the 20 yrs i was told beore now it will be
alot sooner but i told the doc that the insurance can do a meniscil replacement surgery,, that i have done my studing on this and they can pay for it ,, i will see and if they do i still will never be back to normal again just getting more time before i neees a replacement.. every injury i have ever had hurts for a few yrs and then it gradually gets a bit better but never does the pain fully go away..

I understand that basketball is an iffy sport to go back on. I want
to go back to playing basketball but I know it'll be a while before
i get back to what i was at before i had the injury. I also do
martial arts and i was curious if anyone here did martials and if it
hindered their performance in the ring?
