Thanks for the advice. It's interesting that you suggest going to a
different ortho, as I had to go to two different doctors once I found
out I had a cyst to find someone who was willing to do anything about
it. Anyways, although the cyst was not accompanied by a meniscal
tear it was about the size of a large marble directly behind my
patella, which caused a lot of problems when I bent the knee (which
is also when my IT band hurts. I can remember my IT band hurting
since last October, so maybe the two (the cyst and IT problems) are
connected. So, this ortho might have fixed a result of an underlying
problem, which is still ongoing.
