You were pretty lucky... do you know what they did? I think a lot of depends on what exactly they do while they are in there too....

Either way if you are going to go out and do something immediately (less than 3 days) after any surgery just do so with caution... it certainly cant hurt. I artho was certainly not as painful as the patellar tendon transfer or as painful as this ACL reconstruction will probably be... but I still remember trying to finish my Christmas shopping and not being too comfortable (even with the wheelchair... surgery done 12/21)
