I am scheduled to have ACL reconstruction on Sept. 10th (allograft). I am comfortable with the procedure for the most part but am leary because of a previous surgery I have had before. I had a Patellar tendon transfer (Goldwaithe) performed in 1995. I get the impression from my OS that it is not a major risk with having had that surgery performed but I am still a little concerned about the additional risks from having had this surgery done. Any guidance would be very much appreciated.
