My husband had knee surgery 2 weeks ago. They removed a part of his
meniscus. He has been doing pretty well and is staring therapy
today. The question we have is that whenever he gets up and moves
around a bit his ankle/foot swells greatly. If he lays down and
elevates the swelling decreases - which make us think it is not a
blood clot. He has some mild pain in the calf.. but mostly from the
surgery. He will ask the therapist today but I was wondering if
anyone experienced that much sweeling when trying to resume mild
activity (i.e. going to the grocery store)
Thanks!
Tara
