Sorry, first of all, about your accident. I think you
should talk with a lawyer asap. Frankly, to me, it
sounds like your boss is being unreasonable, and
he/she should be more flexible...after all, you did
injure yourself on the job, something no employer
likes to deal with. When you're on short term
disability, you're not required to work at all, until
it's over. The fact that he/she expected you to go on
with an injured leg is pretty inhumane. You need to
stand up for yourself and tell your boss where to go.
Isn't your health more important than your job? I
would hope so. Also, check out www.cobrainsurance.com.
I believe there's a law that if you quit or are layed
off from a job, you still receive some benefits of
your health insurance. Check that out and good luck.

I know that I was put on FMLA. It is a thing that protects your job while you are out sick. You might check and see if your company has that. Belinda ... ...

This month will be 7 month on the job. So I don't qualify for the FMLA. I get short term disability/WC. Here's the deal... I was going to quit the beginning of...
