Mystery Knee Injury, Please Help   Message List

I slipped and landed on inside (the right side) of my left knee in a bent
position. To make a very long story short, I am unable to keep my knee in joint
without locking my knee. I can bend it slightly and lock the knee, but if it
moves left or right the knee goes out of joint and seems to be grinding over a
tendon on the left side-side/back. The Dcotor says he thinks it's a medial
collateral tear, but the pain is on the left side? We finally got the MRI done,
now they tell us the results won't be back for another 7 days. I've been
immobilized with virtually no help and no answers from my (alleged) healthcare
provider for 24 days. I cannot walk or put weigh on it at all. Can someone
please tell me what this sounds like? Any information would be greatly
appreciated.
