I'm based in the UK and am a distributor of USANA nutritional supplements. One of their products is Procosamine II which promotes joint and cartilage health. Recently I had some building work done and our builder complained of a long standing painful knee injury - he goes to a fitness club as well which aggravated the problem. His doctor did an exploratory op and recommended that he should have surgery. He started taking Procosamine in November and is now pain free. It might be worth trying this for a couple of months anyway to see if it helps. My website is www.mediterina.com - and you can get to USANA's site through this where you can have a good look at their products. Whatever you decide I hope the pain subsides rapidly and the dog gets his training!
