I do know about the memory thing here. I can't remember LOTS from my
past---I even met a girl once, went to a few pool partys with her, slept over
her house a few times & a few months after all of these things had taken
place---I no longer could remember who she was. I just came across her name
one day in my personal phone book---tried like heck to remember her---and
could not. So I had to ask my mother about this girl---and she told me the
story of "Karen" and all the times I had with her.
UNBELIEVEABLE!! If your daughter realizes that she is having lapses of
memory I can guarantee you she is a HECK of a lot more frusterated then you
are. I mean no offence by this but it's totally true. If you are
questioning weather your doctor is the best one then mabey you should get a
2nd opinion. the memory lapses though--well, ironically, thats the thing
that I remember the most about epilepsy. thats the very first thing that
started happening to me actually--before the seizures started. I would wake
up and 4 days would have gone by when I thought it was just a regular nights
sleep!!! What fear!!! To wake up and find out that its NOT the day you
think it is--WOW--I can't even describe it!!!
I will be thinking of Shushanna & your family
