Dear Tom,

Hi, my name is Jessie and I'm 19 and have epilepsy. I've had epilepsy since 3rd
grade, and I also have a rare brain problem that causes glucose levels to go
very low or very high whenever I have a seizure (its not connected to diabetes
at all!) Its no big deal, I just have to take insulin twice a day and test my
glucose levels 4 times a day. I also have a speech impairment because of my
brain damage, which makes me sound a little retarded, even though I'm not.

I like to write stories and poems,helping cats, go camping, go bike riding,
listen to country and bluegrass music, playing my banjo, and sewing on plastic
canvas and crochet. My favorite book series is the Little House On The Prarie
books. I also like any action western books like "LongArm" books.

You will really like our webpage. Mainly because everyone on there has
epilepsy, so you are not alone, and all of us members will help anyone who need
a question answered. I hope you really like it.
