my grandson is on the diet heis strong and he is just learning to talk
sometimees he cheats he is only 6 and steals food and we had no problem but this
week he has grand mal seizures where he just falls down something new for us we
think its the diet and needs to be increased as the body frows faster than the
brain to adjust if this is what you mean then yes currently he is in the
hospital and after one week of monitoring and countless seizures it seems the
diet kicked in and he is getting better hope this helps

If so, how did/do you handle it? Darian had wonderful seizure control
on the 3:1 ratio but her body could not handle it. We reduced the
ratio to 2.75:1 and she did okay but her body still could not tolerate
it well enough.
She is now on a 2.5:1 and we have also figured out that we cannot wait
very long between meals or else she becomes too acidotic and as a
result vomits.
Our dietician claims that a "honeymoon" period DOES exist with the
diet. I have not read that and I don't think that John Freeman has
said that, so I am wondering what your thoughts may be. Thank you.
