thanks for your reply...got it without any trouble. So whatever ya did, ya did
good. ;)

anyway...Kyle is going to be 11 yrs old in July. He's had the VNS for just about
three years now {april will be 3yrs} he's also been med-free all that time.

we didn't want to use meds along with the VNS, cuz we wanted to see how Kyle
would respond to it without meds. {he was still having seizures EVEN with all of
the pills he was taking , so we felt it was best for HIM to just do without the
pill pushing and get the implant on it's own.

His seizures aren't worse with the VNS...just different.
I used to be able to tell when he was going to have a seizure...but now ..I
can't . THEY come on outta the blue. WHEN before , it was just upon waking from
sleep or napping. He went from having 20-30 seizures a month to having 12-15 a
month...and now with the low carb diet, he is having ONE convulsive seizure a
week or week and a half...and a few head drop type seizures twice
aweek...so...we are getting there.
