We live in Tampa and our daughter Taylor (2 1/2, LGS, Depakote &
Topamax)
is scheduled to start the diet on October 6th. I spoke to the
dietician
for the first time on the phone last week and I have some concerns
after
our conversation. She seemed in a rush, very busy(thats normal, I
know),
and she has several other responsibilties for the hospital that we
are
supposed to be admitted to. I am afraid that we won't have her full
attention, and might have problems getting ahold of her when
necessary.
More importantly, she doesn't work exclusively with the keot diet,
so is
she really the best qualified to treat our daughter??? Has anyone
gone to
Gainesville (UF) and started the diet there? If so, what was the
process?
How long to be seen? How long before you could start the diet? We
want to
start the diet yesterday!! Any advice would help, even if it was
about
another location that we could travel to, we will go to the moon if
we had
to we just don't want to wait.
