Subject: [Keto Kids] Re: NEW-About to start the diet
Hi, my advice is to give the diet plenty of time. I'd say at least
two months. When my son started on the diet we did not notice any
improvement at all for a month. Then all of a sudden he stopped
having atonic "drop" seizures. He went from having about 50 a day to
zero. We never did get rid of the tonic clonics in his sleep. He is
no longer on the diet because we were only able to have the control
over his daytime seizures for about six weeks. He stayed on the diet
for seven months. You won't regret giving it a try and hopefully
your daughter will have her seizures completely controlled.
