Kurt &
Chris,
I have had such
infections over the last 35 years. Antibiotics for both conditions ALWAYS have
worked, no matter who the partner was. I was single for 20 years after a
divorce and had about 4-5 partners during that time. The crème antibio vaginal
inserts have worked great as well as the current prescription antibiotics for
bladder infection and yeast. No doubt, it is a royal pain and can get very painful
if untreated. I would forego the “natural” remedies for now and
get a prescription antibiotic for the bladder and yeast infections. It can go
higher in your system; it did in mine and I ended up in the ER.
One trick I
learned on the yeast infections—when I felt them coming on, I inserted a
very large tampon which of course would pick up a lot of white stuff (sorry to
get so graphic). Then I would put another in and change it about every 4 hours.
About two times a day I douched twice with plain, warm water to rinse out the
infected cells. That actually worked very well on the yeast side of it and
seemed to clear it up within a few days.
Good luck!

Subject: [kegels] Hi
I do not know if I am in the "right"
group for this question, but
here goes, I am 33 yrs old and had a part. hyst.
last year. One year
before my hyst. and to this day I frequently get
either bacterial
infections , yeast infections or bladder
infections after intercorse
with my husband, not all the time, but enought to
make this a big
pain. I have a bladder infection right now and I
am treating it with
a natural remedy, it was going away and I was feeling
fine, untill a
few hours ago and it feels like it is coming
back...sigh..?? does
anyone have any advice or answers on why this
happpens? I have been
to the doc. and they really dont tell me much
except that our body
chem. does not mix? We have been together for 12
years, why is this
happening now?
Thank you
Chris
