We are one of the few ORIGINAL PCOS groups still here at YAHOO Groups! Founded back in 1999, we are the BEST and ONLY group designated strictly for those women who have recently been, or think they may be diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Also Known as: PCOS, Stein Leventhal Syndrome, Polycystic Ovarian Disease, PCOD just to name a few.

This list was started in hopes of bringing women together who are still in the process of figuring it all out! So many questions...hard to find real answers!

Those of us here on the list are working to help each other through the tough times. Working to provide support and advise as now we are all faced with doctors, strange medical terminology, the uncertainty of tests, procedures, various medications etc..etc. Regardless of whether or not you will be or are now TTC (Trying To Concieve) OR whether or not you are Insulin Resistant (IR). Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on every now and then and that's why this list is here. Helping others who need that "beginners" PCOS support is what we do!
