Hello everyone!
I would just like to announce some extras that Onelist has brought to
it's forums. If you go to www.onelist.com and sign on you can go to our list
center, by clicking on the list name "JumpRope." In doing so, you can take a
survey, use and add links, add special events to the calendar, and even
upload or download files & programs on the file sharing link. Also, onelist
has also graciously offered to donate money to the forum that grows the most
in the next month. I hope all of you will try it all out and if anyone has
any problems or I didn't clarify enough, feel free to contact me.
Does anyone know anything about the world competition? Are any plans
confirmed other than the location? Will there be any other special events?
Do you have to judge in National competitions to become a judge?
I've been wondering if anyone has a strong opinion against ropes with
longer handles and if there should be regulations or penalties for using them
in competition? I and many others feel that these ropes make otherwise more
difficult tricks basic, even though in the US there are no penalties against
these ropes now, I still think it should be acknowledged that they are much
easier to handle and the difficulty level should go down. Are there any
problems with the usage of ropes on the International scene?
Thanks for any answers you can give me! Please feel free to post in
the list center!
