This first groups consists of books on jump rope and rhymes including some history:                  "Jump Rope Rhymes, a Dictionary"  Roger Abrahams   "Red Hot Peppers" Bob and Diane Boardman   "Anna Banana"   Joanna Cole  "Jump Rope Verses around the United States"    Catherine Ainsworth   "Jump Rope Book"  Elizabeth Loredo     "Skippimg Around the World"  Francelia Butler   "Jump Rope" Peter Skolnik                           The second group consists of books by Duncan Emrich. "Folklore on the American Land" by Emrich contains an excellent chapter on jump rope rhymes.
