I've gotten a few injury related questions through my jump rope site and
although I know a few of the askers joined the list, I thought I would put
the question of prevention out to the group. This is an odd subject for me,
as I actually have never had a major injury from rope skipping.

So shin splints? What's the best way to prevent and get rid of them? That
would be the major growing pain I'd say of a beginning jumper. I think it
really depends on the level of the jumper, advanced tricks especially if
combined with gymnastic moves can make one more prone to injury.

I've started a message board on my website, so with all the questions and
answers, I'm hoping that I can build a page that would help new jumpers and
old alike.

Take care :)
